Had an epic weekend sailing the last 20 miles home with Jono last Saturday. Well powered up on 9.5's and raceboard. Perfect conditions for his home coming and what an incredible achievement. I'd like to write more about the day when I get a chance.
Contrast that with today. Super windy squalls. 4.0 weather, waveboard, big gnarly waves at Southbourne and a shorebreak that just would not let go of you. Even when I thought I had escaped, I hadn't. I just had to curl up into a ball and hope for the best!!
