Nice little post work session out of Southbourne with Nathan and Phil. Really gusty though. Took the dog down to the water's edge and I would have powered off the beach. Returned to the cliff top to see the North boys floating on biggish sails.
I went 5.0 Black tip and Big Board (quantum 95) seemed to work well through the gusts and lulls. Some fun waves to catch now and then and a couple of ramps to hit (uncontrollably in the turbo gusts).
Not quite a patch on the 6 turn wave of Avon a couple of weeks back, but pretty nice all the same. Still a bit chilly though.
