Hanging on for dear life

I didn't get out on the water yesterday, but after the driving torrential rain, the dog, myself and the boy went to watch the grown ups at Avon Beach. It can only be described as a confused mess, but with the swinging extremely strong onshore wind and flooding water out of the harbour a wave was struggling to form. There was so much water that earlier in the day the Avon was just flooding it's banks. I did wait for an hour hoping it would be a real flood.  A few people were taking in turns to brave the horrendous chop, but nothing much to write home about, most saving their energy for today.

Casey much more interested in the JCB than the windsurfing
