Just got these pictures from this time last year. One of my sisters friends wanted to do some "action sports" photography for a course she was on. Typically the weekend they visited was flat as a pancake and bloody freezing, with a max temperature of 2 degrees. It turned out that we thought that KBay might have a bit of wind and or a bit of a wave. It didn't, but the light was perfect for photographs. Somehow Jono and myself were persuaded to go out for 20minutes. Hat's, gloves, northerly, even without getting wet it was incredibly cold. Much, much colder than this January has been.
