5.6 metre swell with a 14 second period. Myself and James Cox had the same idea last night, that Avon could put on one of its rare but special days. Problem for me was that little issue known as work. So the only option was to get there at first light, and get to work whenever possible sometime later.
That was the plan anyway. As it turned out the wind was just too light. As the pics show James went for a swim, but never got to the wind line. A shame as there were some beauties rolling in behind him. Another time perhaps.
