I worked out on Sunday what you need to make the Boscombe reef work. A howling Southerly with some ground swell and then for the wind to back right round to the west (is that backing.? not sure)

I would say that on Sunday it was by far the best I have seen it so far. A nice breaking right of a good size... The only thing was, that again if I had to choose the better wave, certainly for windsurfing the beach break a couple of breakwaters down from the pier was going off...
