I'm sure in 6 months time we will look out to sea over a calm breathless ocean and then wonder how the hell did we take all this swell on the southcoast for granted. Storm beaches such as Avon becoming regular point breaks. Beach breaks such as Southbourne, Boscombe and Branksome regularly delivering powerful, big clean waves. Incredible that yet another weekend has passed with epic wavesailing conditions and by all accounts there is another one to come. Sunday lived up to expectations, Saturday afternoon for those of us who could get out (Gregg back on the water after a broken foot) was sunny, windy and sideshore with nice small waves. Sunday was howling windy at midday, cross then cross offshore at the outer sand bar at Avon. The afternoon delivered side off powerful waves at Southbourne. James Cox and Nick Beany making full use of it all.
